Good Living....Great Life.

We were excited... After deciding on our general contractor and coming up with a very loose budget we were ready to pull the trigger.  My plan was to take a bunch of videos and pictures to document the process.  In full disclosure, the videos were first takes.  Authentic is a good word that comes to mind when I watch them.😀 Here is the very first video.  The remodel is now finished and the space feels very different when I look at this. We had a number of ideas that we wanted to implement into the plan.  A bigger kitchen island, a window that opens over the sink.  Windows in the family room to bring in more natural light.  One thing we did that worked well was to build a template for the island out of poster board to feel what a bigger island would be like.  How much longer, how much wider?  Does that look weird?  These thoughts dances around our heads for a few days living with our fake island.
